Please read the Car Club Display Instructions that you received from Silverstone Festival. On the day, please have your tickets and passes ready and visible to the Silverstone Festival entry marshals, and when you arrive on the Club stand please work with the Club volunteers to get parked up. If you plan to leave your car on the Club stand overnight, please let the Club volunteers know. The parking layout will change from day to day so we may need you to move your car or park in a specific place. We do not man the stand overnight.
The Club marquee will be open to Club members and visitors throughout the weekend. It is an ideal place to meet the Club staff and Directors, shelter from the sun or rain, buy some BMW merchandise, or partake of the Club member refreshments. The 50 Years of the 3 Series will be celebrated with a very special County Championship Cup E21 featured in the Club marquee throughout the weekend, and a display of each of the 7 generations on the stand on the Sunday. Over the 3 days we will also be celebrating 60 years of Alpina with a dedicated parking area within the Club stand for Alpinas.
On the Sunday, we have been allocated a Parade Lap to celebrate the 50 Years of the 3 Series and 60 years of Alpina. It is currently scheduled for 13:15 – 13:45 on Sunday 24 August. Places are strictly limited, and sign-on will be available from 10am on the Sunday in the Club marquee. Priority will initially be given to 3 Series cars and Alpinas. Any remaining places will be released to other models from 11am.
If you have any BMW Car Club GB region/register flags or banners, please do bring them along and display them with pride. We look forward to seeing you at Silverstone !
